"1984" 20th Anniversary With this one 30-second spot,Advertising history had been erased. This Commercial is most remembered for it's Different method of advertising.(The 30-second spot went on without even explaining what a macintosh is!) If you notice The Girl(Anya Major) on the top picture, Some "thought police" were behind her. the "thought police" were a representation of oppresion. and The Girl being the youth. There's more to this commercial than these picture. If you Haven't seen this spot(It may take a long while, but it's well worth it) or have read the novel "1984" by George Orwell, I Urge you to Read or at least watch it. If you look at the girl on the bottom picture, you would notice that she has an I-pod! (take note: this was aired on january 22,1984 I have no idea how they put an I-pod without it looking so fake.) This was part of Mac's 20th anniversary. Now advertising the I-pod. And is found on apple's Website. This ranked as the greatest commercial ever on TV Guide's 50 greatest commercials. and Is My personal favorite. In the words of Joe Isuzu: "You have MY word on it"

My Summer Vacation

Whoa! Can't believe it's been over a year since I started writing. There's been a couple of things I didn't write over the months. The States was THE BOMB! Saw a lot of ass! (talk about a good view!) I also wound up with seven hours of tape when I got home. I also got some Reebok pumps! they're the sh*t! Feels good wearing it. really snug. I also got Mick Foley's DVD which was also awesome! six hours of wrestling. I also Enjoyed our 15-hour road trip. (most of the footages on the tape was the road trip) We went to New York city! It was also the Sh*t! what I liked most about the new york trip was the people. The people over there are so career centered that they wouldn't care if you wore your briefs over your pants! Apart from our regular visit to Chicago and New York, We also went to Orlando. My first Time in eight years! I can still remember the way the airport looked like even before stepping of the airbus a320 we rode going from detroit to orlando. We met up with family friends over there. We had a hell of a good time there. I wish I could go back there soon. Then I would leave my problems here in the philippines. My Schoolwork, My lovelife, My Financial dillemas, My enemies. Wouldn't it be nice to lose all your problems?
