I can feel it!



When one brings up the topic of 80's Filipino TV this classic commercial from 1987 is sure to be brought up. I don't really think it comes off as a surprise to anybody anymore that I know this because I am an 80's fanatic. This advertisement for Palmolive soap is most remembered for the catchphrase "I can feel it!" said by a young Alice Dixon. Judging from most of the old commercials I've seen, this one's pretty ahead of its time. Call me crazy but the elements of the commercial like the voice overs and it's format are still pretty useable today. Although I'd consider trashing most of the graphics (Doesn't that backdrop remind you of GTA Vice city?), the music, the hair and the ridiculous (and at the same time cool) synth drum pads.
