Dont ask! I'll never tell!

"..but last night in black & white.. a dream of lovers' eyes. a song on an old phonograph.. a moving photograph of.. You and I."
**An excerpt from the song "U&I" from Cynthia Alexander's album "Ripping yarns"

Okay, first and foremost this time THIS picture is NOT supposed to connote anything. As the band Felony has said before, "its done and its the past". So don't get any ideas about me using this photo! I sure hope Tara doesnt mind me using it though. It was just too perfect for the theme! Well Anyway, I'll tell you the story behind this photo.

Last night as I was tinkering with the photoshop, I remembered a song I used to listen to alot in my mother's car a few months back. The song was by Cynthia Alexander and the title was "U&I". The song had a very melodic and cheery feel as it vividly tells this story about meeting this person she met and how the almost magical feeling of meeting this new person made her feel as if they were in a moving photograph of him and her.. forever embedded in her memory. I tried to make a nostalgic feel to it as much as possible to really emphasize the intent of the photograph. Just see it as a old, faded but cherished mental picture of you and your significant other. It could be the first time you've met eachother or it could the the first time you kissed. In any case, we've all been there.

We had two cameras for that night; one on the right side, the other in the front row. and I personally edited this video for you viewers out there! We plan to make more of these pretty soon.. I'll post some in the near future. As for now, I hope you enjoy!

The 'Hi, my name is Huwanshoe' movement

It's finally time to let you in on a little deal I've been arranging the past two weeks. If you've passed by Taft avenue lately, I don't know if you've noticed this stuck on a street sign or clipped to a passer-by's notebook but it's just a small part of my long-term sticker movement campaign. This image has been making the rounds not only there, but everywhere else in the metro and parts of Cavite as part of what I now call the 'hi, my name is Huwanshoe' movement. Now, before anybody I know close to me start saying Im doing it out of spite.. thats not completely true! (partly lang! haha..) the ploy of the movement is to promote unity and togetherness in the people involved in it. Let me explain:

A tagger walks in a crowded street. He passes by a lamp post and notices that there's a sticker stuck right atop him. He now knows somebody else has stuck a sticker passing through the same route once before. Therefore, he is not alone.

This kind of reaction is what I and several others in the campaign want to promote. And The network is just getting bigger and bigger everyday as I encourage everybody to join me in this step into further uniting our country and maybe even the world someday. If you would like to join the movement, just save this photo above and post it in online somewhere or even just approach or message me for some stickers. Your involvement would be greatly appreciated.. Peace out!

Falling - Staind
You
In your shell
Are you waiting for someone to rescue you
From yourself
Don't be disappointed when no one comes

Don't blame me you didn't get it
Don't blame me you didn't get it
Don't blame me you didn't get it

I already told you that falling is easy
It's getting back up that becomes the problem
Becomes the problem
If you don't believe you can find a way out
You've become the problem
Become the problem

You
All alone
Are you waiting for someone to make you whole?
Can't you see?
Aren't you tired of this disfunctional routine?

Don't blame me you didn't get it
Don't blame me you didn't get it
Don't blame me you didn't get it

I already told you that falling is easy
It's getting back up that becomes the problem
Becomes the problem
If you don't believe you can find a way out
You've become the problem
Become the problem

I already told you that falling is easy
It's getting back up that becomes the problem
Becomes the problem
If you don't believe you can find a way out
You've become the problem
Become the problem

Falling is easy
It's getting back up that becomes the problem
Becomes the problem
And if you believe you can find a way out
Then you've solved the problem
You've solved your problem.
